PERSONALITY:
Frozen. Frozen, frigid, frosty, cold. Those whose whispery voices slither through the hallways and find the ears of other girls and boys have always found those words first on their ready tongues when speaking of Julianna. “What’s wrong with her?” “She’s frozen.” “Frozen?” “To the core.”
Perhaps those whispery voices have it right. The girl is conniving, cunning, ambitious, controlling, composed, and utterly frozen. She has locked herself into a chilly smile and cookie cutter friends and thrown away the key. Her walls are so strong not even she knows how to scale them. She smiles and laughs and chatters away about boys like any other girl but she makes sure not to let anyone too close. She holds everyone at arm’s length, manipulating them, playing them against each other, holding them in place so that she has someone to talk to but no one to confide in.
She is the ultimate puppet master. Always the conductor, never the musician. She slinks about behind the scenes and keeps her delicate hands clean. Those who she hasn’t hand selected to fill tired place holders of friends find her creepy, those who can see better than she can watch her hurting. Everyone stares and she never stares back. Sometimes cracks in the facade show up. Perfect little girls never stay that way. She carries a kind of dark glamour; mischief and lust run rampant when she's angry, but always by the next day she's absolutely restored, still, glass;
Almost like she’s frozen.

BIRTHPLACE: Winchester
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Winchester
OVERVIEW:
Her mother, Aria, comes from old money while her father, Rick, is nothing. Aria married him because he was charming and handsome and she was head over heels in lust with him. When Julianna's grandparents heard about the marriage they disinherited Aria in a rage of pure blood snobbery. Aria was shattered by her parent's rejection and began to slowly come apart at the seams. Rick noted this change in his wife's demeanor and began to distance himself from his broken wife, their tiny apartment, and no money.
He probably would have taken off too, if it hadn’t been for Julianna. The news of Aria’s pregnancy shook Rick to the core. Though his entire body ached to be out of his lack luster marriage he couldn’t leave a pregnant wife. So he stayed. He stayed and played the role of attentive husband until Julianna was born. Once she was born, Rick took one look at his baby daughter and took off. Aria, still reeling from the loss of her parents almost died from grief. She managed to hold herself and her little girl together for long enough to get back to her parent’s house.
After many years, Aria’s parents began to forgive her. They couldn’t hate her forever. However, they could hate their granddaughter. She was his child, with her strong bone structure and coppery hair; and they just couldn’t see past that. They couldn’t see past the family resemblance to see that really, Julianna was almost her grandmother’s twin in personality. Clinical, controlling, ambitious, composed, everything that her grandmother was. Aria tried to speak to her parents, “Please!” She had begged, “Give my little girl a chance.” But her parents remained stony to Julianna.
As time healed Aria’s wounds she remarried, and this time to a man who her parents very much approved up. Julianna was six when her half-sister, Liah, was born, and it was soon plain to see how this new arrival suited her grandparents. Liah, a dark haired, red lipped child, was the apple of her Grandmother’s eye and her Grandfather swore that he’d never seen as pretty a baby.
They made a strange party. Julianna, Liah, Aria, Aria’s new husband, and Julianna’s Grandparents, all in one large manor. Liah growing into a delightful child and melting some of the ice in her Grandparent’s hearts, Julianna, sullen and frigid, slipping about the house, never wanting for anything but her Grandparent’s approval, and Aria, too love struck to notice anything amiss.
When Julianna received her Hogwarts letter she rejoiced. Though she never wanted for any material item in her Grandparent’s house, the poor child was starved for affection. She saw Hogwarts as an escape, from her rosy-cheeked sister, her distant mother, and especially her loveless Grandparents.
So there she stood, decked out in the best of everything, but positively frozen inside. The pattern stayed true as she excelled in school but warranted nothing more than a stiff congratulations from her proud Grandparents.

AGE: 14
GENDER: Female
EXPERIENCE: 6 Years
MEMBER TITLE: The Puppet Master
ANYTHING ELSE?:
Julianna hates her father, she see's it as entirely his fault, and many times she's ashamed that she's a Slytherin after him instead of a Ravenclaw like all of her family.
RP SAMPLE:
“Julianna?” The words fell flat against the lofty stone walls and died halfheartedly. “Julianna!” The voice sounded again, this time more forceful, angrier. Somewhere in the house a girl sighed. The sigher set down a book she had been busy with on the window seat she’d been stretched out on. Rain splattered heavily against the large window and a fierce wind rattled the trees outside. “Yes Grandmother?” Julianna replied, her voice monotone and as polite as could be. “There you are.” The voice replied, a hint of relief coloring it, as the bearer stepped into the door way. She was an imposing woman, tall and stately, with a pursed frown as she looked on Julianna.
Julianna returned the gaze easily with her own, her blue eyes matching the older woman’s exactly. For a second the woman looked away from her steady gaze before sharply inquiring, “What are you reading?” Julianna nodded incrementally. The power structure was back in place. “A textbook.” She relied, her voice flat and devoid of vitality. The woman accepted this answer and quickly surveyed the room. It was fairly large and impeccably neat. The walls were a dark brown and the floor polished wood. The entire room was filled with shelves containing books and various treasures. There was a closet filled with carefully hung clothing and in the center of a room a lofty bed with a sumptuous canopy was perfectly made up. “You’re ready to go then?” was the woman’s only comment. Julianna shook her strait coppery hair and brushed the non-existent dust off of her light grey sweater. “Let’s go.” She replied stiffly.
“I wish I could go with you!” A shrill voice declared as a little curly headed girl bounded into the room, breaking the tension. “Next year, Liah.” Julianna spoke with the tiniest of smiles in her voice. Liah bounced around and plomped down next to her sister, “Next year is so long from now!” She complained piteously. “We’ll make it fly by, my pet,” Cooed the older woman. Suddenly Julianna leapt to her feet, “Let’s go.” She snapped. Liah felt the tension crackle back to life in a sudden crack. The little girl sighed, this is more like what she was used to, the pair quipping about something that had happened before she’d even been thought of. “Yes, of course.” The Grandmother said hastily, obviously rattled. Julianna quickly kissed her sister on the head and flounced out of the room. The Grandmother followed suit, promising Liah that she’d be back in time for lunch, and the little girl was left to wonder what secrets her beautiful, cold, sister was harboring.
