Zara was up in the left bell tower with a crystal ball. She was sitting on the edge near one of the bells looking out on the grounds. Start of a new year would be interesting. New first years. Old friends. And new whispers of things going on in the Wizarding world.
Z glanced down to the ball in her hands. She hadn't seen anything yet but she wished she could. It would give her the upper hand. Allow her to prepare and make the best impression, and to move up to being in the upper ranks. However she had not seen anything and so she was not bothering to think about it.

Bert climbed up the up the Bell Tower, as he reached to the top he huffed and puffed, out of breath. Bert wasn't the most athletic of people. He bent down with hi hands on his knees trying to catch his breath. He looked up and saw Zara sitting there with a crystal ball.
Suddenly Bert straightened up, and started to strech. "Yup, that was my fifth run up those stairs, really does knock the breath out of ya!" Bert breathlesly said, still streching. He gave a huge grin to Zara.

She turned to see who had entered sounding like they were having an asthma attack. Zara saw Bert and heard what he said before rolling her eyes at him. "Sure it is." He was a funny boy. "Catch your breath and plant your bum down." Zara said to him motioning opposite her. It would be nice to sit and talk to someone for a bit.
"What are you doing up here?" Zara asked him out of curiosity. The bell towers were usually quiet and unoccupied.

Bert plonked himself down opposite Z, and caught his breath properly befire starting to talk to her again. "I'm keeping fit, you see. Like I said fifth run up those stairs!" He was half telling the truth there.
Bert had mostly comeup just to see the view, but he had only run up here to keep fit, he'd been told he had a bit of a belly growing. Maybe he hadn't ran five times up and down the stairs, but Z wouldn't know anyway.

"Ok. I believe you." Zara said to him, however she was still slightly skeptical about it. Zara continued to play with the crystal ball. "I'm sorry about Mikko on the train." she said suddenly. Zara glanced up at the Hufflepuff boy. "He's not some monster. Just a little protective." She had noticed that there was a little hostility towards them. Though of course it was her fault, "And I like to wind people up. Sorry."

Hat "He'll grow to like me, he seems like a very..um...interesting person." Bert wasn't sure if this was the right word, but he couldn't actually think of another one that would fit the boy right. "It's fine, some people say I wind them up, but I don't really know how to be honest with you! Bert was often told that we got on people's nerves and wound people up, but most of the time he was just being friendly.

Zara laughed when he said Mikko was an interesting person. "Mm that he is." There was a fondness in her voice. Mikko was the closest person to her.
"Yeah, I think you and I are a little different when you and I wind people up." Zara explained. She purposely pressed peoples buttons and he seemed to just be too happy go lucky to handle at times. "How's the year been going so far?" she asked him.

"It's been going pretty well, glad to get away from home and get back here! Nice to see all my friends here! And what about you?"
Bert adjusted his hat slightly knowing that it was at a tilt and then smoothed down the rest of the hair that you could actually see.

She smiled hearing that he was having fun being back at the castle. It was indeed nice. Her true home. At least thats how she felt. "It's been good to be back. I'm hoping this year will actually be a good one." There was always a chance it would go horrifically wrong, although, she had not seen anything in her visions.
"Do you plan on going to this Halloween dance thing?" Zara asked him as she turned to look out the window and onto the grounds.
